- Pulled vehicle in bay and engine is very noisy. Check engine light is on and checked codes. P0455 – Evap. emission system leakage detected, P052A – Cold start camshaft position A timing over – advanced (Bank 1 intake camshaft) and P1326 – Glow relay stuck on. Checked the block with stethoscope and sounds like cylinder 3 piston rod bearing is bad. Researched and found a campaign for a warranty extension to 150K for engines with rod bearing issues to have the engine replaced though Kia. Advised customer to contact a dealer to have this warranty taken care of.
